Many of the shadowy & regenerative themes of Scorpio, are “personified” in heavy metal, because the spiritual culture is like a colossal, shapeshifting “shadow carnival” where you can annihilate your demons & then use the “force” or “shakti” to exalt beyond your limitations, just like Kali devours the Raktabija, a super-demon which is like an anthropomorphized conglomeration of “poisonous” mental attitudes which proliferate and become pervasive. To move beyond them, the demons are “swallowed” or integrated, not merely pierced from the outside. Otherwise, these “poisons” keep cycling the mind and energetic system. Scorpio transforms venom from the “serpent,” which slithers about the telluric level of earth, and galvanizes into the Phoenix (or a Bat) through hard earned spiritual “penance” or inner-growth—which is parallel to alchemy, of turning “base metal” or lower instincts & energies into the gold of enlightenment, also symbolized by the lunar fluids or nectars of Amrita. Literally the genre called “heavy metal” where the Rahuvian anti-human cold steels of the factory & the drive to overcome them are used to “power” the entire genre, which is Scorpionic as fuck. We see in the physical sense, venom is used to make anti-venom, just like Harry Potter defeats Voldemort in deflecting his own “death curse.” The Vedas and Tantras continuously reveal our attitude to ourselves & the world ‘is’ our experience, a world which becomes very limited when limited to a cold-factory like “screen,” rather the spiritual power & experience we can gain here in this MAGICAL world is earned and fought for—like Arjuna in the Gita. And just like “the magical revivals” of the 18th & 19th centuries, I do credit heavy metal for being the a leading, living “preservative” for all things esoteric & occult, for keeping the tradition of the ancients “living,” for channeling and celebrating the “faith” in a way that is immersive, and keeping the energy moving and shifting, like the serpentine current which is always on one level, transforming—and for quite literally delivering the “force” that will save the world.
